Historical heritage

Every stone in Cabrera de Mar has bore witness to its history and we can discover the town's past through its preserved archaeological sites.

There are findings from several periods: the town Ilturo dates back to the Iberian era; the domus, thermal baths and ceramic kilns where amphorae, pots and other common tools were made come from Roman times; Burriac castle is medieval; and masia farm estates and manor houses that managed the area's agricultural and wine production are from more recent centuries.
